Connective Elements Massage
Elena Andrie considers herself a life-long student in mastering the art of seamless flow. “How many things can I give up right now to be truly free to flow? Can I strip any more layers of thought and conditioning to fully commit to this multi-sense judgeless moment? How can I serve more as a conduit to open flow for myself and others?” By checking in with herself daily, asking these questions, Elena is able to apply this presence mentality to her work, hobbies, and personal life. Being in flow, to her, means fostering a discerning flexibility while navigating through changes. She has learned that getting into flow requires “active surrender”, and one way to practice this is by receiving massage. Flow is constant, like the ocean, and when those big waves roll in instead of fear or tension, choosing to surrender controlling the inevitable allows you to move gracefully into the next action. Keeping your eyes on the water directs you to either dive deep and hold on, or tread on top in the sun. Let the [wave] set pass. Once it does, you can relax and float on...
Elena loves to talk in metaphors and mediate. Her free time is spent dancing, learning new things, and laughing with her boyfriend, friends, and even her dog. Having worked in rehab clinics, spas, and privately, she has been with many different people from different walks of life; pregnant mothers, elderly, children, cancer warriors, sexual abuse survivors, hospice, recent surgeries, chronic pain, and any and all people that want to relax and get their bodies flowing.
Originating from Ukraine, Elena has lived on the islands for over 12 years, and has learned to navigate this amazing life through aloha. Her treatments are rooted in lomi lomi, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and she loves to incorporate tools, and lots of guided movement and meditation. She integrates styles creating uniquely tailored and fluid sessions to meet each person’s needs. With skillful presence, Elena brings you to the beach to ride the waves, and guides you to comfortably breathe underwater.
